Mexican Corn Tortillas

INGREDIENTS

1kg(2 pounds)corn flour

Water(the quantity is not specified because it is never exact;it will depend upon the humidity level of the flour,its texture,as well as environmental levels of humidity,etc.)

Sea salt


PREPARATION

Put the flour and the salt in a bowl and add water while mixing until it forms into a compact dough that does not stick to the hands.

Take a portion of the dough and roll into a small ball.Place it between two sheets of saran(plastic)wrap;using a rolling pin or a wooden press on the upper piece of plastic,roll the dough until it is very fine and circular.

Place a pan or a griddle iron on the fire and place the tortilla on it.Flip so that both sides are golden;repeat the process until the dough is used up.

They should be eaten right away.
