Career Choices

By tanisha1 • 2 weeks ago • 45 views • 6 comments

Sometimes figuring out what you want to do for a living could be confusing and wrecking, possibly even hurt your head. One moment you’d want to be a doctor, the next a lawyer, the next an engineer. Usually, one of these professions is decided upon as young as 11 years old, when entering highschool because that’s how we’re programmed to thing, that only these departments are important.

Unfortunately I was one of those people, until I finished my GCSE’s. I always knew I wanted to study a social science, I just was never sure about which one I wanted to study. Sociology was my calling, and I am content with my choice. My mum wanted me to be a lawyer and my dad wanted me to be a pharmacist and the thought of studying either one, doesn’t appease to me. That’s why study what you want to, for your personal being and what you feel is right for you. Everyone has something they’re good at, it just takes you a while to figure out what it is.
